Mrs. Kari Beckman - Executive Director

Mrs. Beckman developed her love of education serving as a national officer for an international organization, Skills USA VICA, which is  dedicated to fostering a diversity of education options for children. She then worked for several years with the Department of Education in Georgia and Arizona, leading an initiative on leadership development in young people. As a nationally-recognized public speaker, Mrs. Beckman traveled the country sharing her passion for the highest standards of personal conduct and excellence in learning.

With this zeal for education, her love of children and her conversion* to the Catholic faith, Mrs. Beckman embarked on a life-changing road that led her to the founding of Regina Caeli Academy and a dedication to classical education in the Catholic tradition. Since its founding in 2003, she has served as RCA’s Executive Director, guiding its growth from a single entity to what is currently eleven centers in five states serving almost 1,000 students. With 20 years of homeschooling experience, she is a champion of the home education method and considers it her passion to share the great news of homeschooling.

When not homeschooling or leading RCA, she spends her time supporting her local Catholic Church as the president of Our Lady of the Mountains pastoral council in Jasper, GA. She also has a passion for the pro-life movement and recently became the treasurer of another non-profit organization dedicated to ethical end life issues.  She lives in Canton, GA, with Rich, her husband of 25 years, and their eight children. She is currently homeschooling five while her second and third eldest are attending Thomas Aquinas College and her eldest has graduated Thomas Aquinas College.
